Abstract |
Background. The Sanctions war provoked by the US and the EU against Russia in connection with the events in Ukraine, aggravation of the situation in the Middle East under the influence of the coalition of Western countries, as well as terrorist groups, a sharp drop in oil prices exacerbated the problem of modernization of the Russian economy, social and economic institutions as the basis for accelerating the process of import substitution, increasing the competitiveness of products and the country as a whole, a return to the trend of sustained growth. For modern Russia the problem of modernization is largely determined by technological backwardness, the need for re-equipment, introduction of new and high technologies in production of leading industries. The most important role in modernization of the domestic production is performed by the science-based industrial policy. The goal of the article is to study factors, mechanisms and tools of modernization typical for micro, macro and mega-levels of the said process, internal and external factors affecting the dynamics of industrial production as the basis of the modernization process in Russia. |
